Galiano Waterfront Retreat is only a few minute walk from the ferry terminal, so you don’t need to bring your car—it’s perfect if you are cycling or kayaking. It’s a lovely place to explore from, whether you’re biking on Galiano’s country roads or kayaking out the front door. And if you’re tired at the end of the day, there’s nothing better than relaxing on the deck watching orcas, seals and boats while you enjoy a hot drink.

Inside the house there is a bright kitchen with an ocean view and doors that lead out onto the deck, a dining area that seats six and a living room with a stone fireplace—the living room offers great ocean views. The main bedroom has a nice water view and a queen-size bed, while the other room has two twins.
Outside there is plenty of room to wander—you can take the rustic stairs down to the beach to look at the ocean creatures and examine the water-sculpted rock formations or you can wander through the retreat’s garden areas and enjoy the arbutus and oak trees. For both tranquility and adventure, Galiano Waterfront Retreat is truly a beautiful place.
